Born in 1965 in Sidi Bel-Abbes, Algeria, Nacer Badi completed his higher education at the Djillali Liabes University of Sidi Bel-Abbes. He continued his academic training in the United States and Algeria, obtaining his PhD in Physics in 1996 through a collaboration between the University of Houston (USA) and the University of Sidi Bel-Abbes (Algeria). This dual education allowed him to acquire internationally recognized expertise in the fields of physics, chemistry, mechanics, industrial engineering, energetics, and materials science.
