Origins & Education

Born in 1987 in Oran (Algeria), Zeyd Boukhers completed his secondary education at Lycée Mustapha Haddam in Oran. He then pursued his higher education at the University of Science and Technology of Oran, where he built the foundation of his scientific training. His academic journey led him to the University of Siegen in Germany, where he obtained his Ph.D. in pattern recognition in 2017.

Dr. Zeyd Boukhers is currently the co-lead of the FAIR Data and Distributed Analytics Research Group at the Fraunhofer Institute for Applied Information Technology. Additionally, he holds a position as a Senior Researcher at the University Hospital of Cologne.
