Origins & Education

Saad Harous was born in 1960 in Setif, Algeria. After completing his secondary education at Mohamed Kerouani High School in Setif, he began his academic journey at the University of Constantine, Algeria, where he obtained a State Engineering degree in Computer Science in June 1984. He continued his higher education in the United States at Case Western Reserve University, where he earned a Master's degree in Computer Science in January 1988, followed by a PhD in Computer Science, specializing in Parallel and Distributed Computing, in August 1991.
